One Lie gives you a set of statements about a hidden numeric code. Every statement is true except exactly one. Your job is to work out which statement is lying, and what the code is, in three attempts. A new case appears every day at midnight New York time.
The rules
The code is 3 or 4 digits long, depending on the mode.
Every digit is between 1 and 6. Digits may repeat.
Exactly one statement is false. All the others are true.
You get three attempts.
Every case has exactly one possible solution, so guessing is never required.
The three modes
Mode
Code
Statements
Easy

4
Medium
4 digits
5
Hard
4 digits
6
All three are available every day and are independent of each other. Playing one does not use up the others.
How do you actually solve it?
Read every statement. Each case gives you 4, 5 or 6 statements about a hidden code. All of them are true except one.
Test one statement at a time. Assume a statement is the lie. If the rest agree on exactly one code, you have found the liar and the answer together. Only one statement survives that test.
Use the scratchpad. Tap a digit once to cross it off for that position, twice to pin it. The grid saves on your device.
Accuse. Enter the code and press ACCUSE. You get three attempts, and after each one the board tells you how many statements your guess breaks.
A worked example
1Position 1 is a 1.
2The highest digit is 3.
3The lowest digit is 4. ← the lie
4Position 3 is a 2.
Statement 3 cannot sit with statement 1: if position 1 is a 1, the lowest digit is not 4. One of those two is lying. Assume it is statement 1 and the rest hold — the lowest digit is 4 but the highest is 3, which is impossible. So statement 3 is the lie, the rest are true, and the code is 132
Practice first
The game has a practice mode with 20 shorter warm-ups, most of them 2-digit codes. Nothing there counts — no streak, no leaderboard — so it is a safe place to learn the method. Open the game and press Practice.
